Educational Disclaimer
One80 Academy sells education. It does not sell results, and it does not promise any. This page explains exactly what that means.
1.Educational purpose only
All One80 Academy material is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is based on business principles, published research, professional experience and practical application.
It is not tailored to your business, your market or your circumstances. We have not reviewed your business and are not in a position to advise on it.
2.No guarantee of results
We do not promise, guarantee or imply any particular outcome. That includes, without limitation:
- Revenue, profit, income or financial result
- Leads, enquiries, customers or sales
- Search rankings, map placement or visibility
- Time saved or efficiency gained
- Any result from using AI or automation tools
- Business growth, survival or success of any kind
Where course material uses words like "can", "may", "could", "the goal is" or "designed to", that is deliberate. Those words describe a possibility, not a promise.
3.Individual results vary
What happens in any business depends on many factors outside our knowledge or control, including industry, market conditions, competition, pricing, demand, location, team, budget, timing, economic conditions, customer behaviour, technology, and above all the decisions and execution of the business owner.
Two businesses applying the same material will not get the same outcome, and nothing in any course should be read as suggesting otherwise.
4.How claims are labelled
Every substantive claim in a One80 Academy course carries one of three labels, so you can weigh what you are reading:
- DATA is a figure or finding from a third party source. The source is named and dated. We do not vouch for third party research and you should check it yourself if a decision rests on it.
- EXPERIENCE is something the instructor personally did, saw or ran. It is one business, in one market, at one time. It is evidence, not proof, and it is not a prediction about yours.
- OPINION is a judgment call by the instructor. The reasoning is shown so you can disagree with it.
No example, story or case described in a course should be taken as typical, representative or likely to be repeated.
5.Not professional advice
Nothing in any course is legal, accounting, tax, financial, investment, employment, data protection, medical or other licensed professional advice.
The instructor is not your attorney, accountant, financial advisor or consultant, and no relationship of that kind is created by purchasing a course. Before acting on anything, consult a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.
6.Instructor background
Courses are written by Ahmed Elsayed, founder of One80 Consultation LLC. He holds a Master of Business Administration. He began a PhD in business administration and did not complete it. He has started and run businesses in several countries, some of which succeeded and some of which did not.
He is not a licensed attorney, accountant, financial advisor or AI researcher. His qualification for teaching this material is operating experience and research, and the material should be weighed on that basis.
7.Third party products and trademarks
Courses discuss third party software, platforms and services for educational purposes. One80 Academy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by or partnered with any of them, and no course is an official or certified course of any third party, unless expressly stated.
All third party names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and description only.
8.Software changes
Software, and AI tools in particular, change quickly. Lessons that depend on a specific tool carry a "last reviewed" date.
A tool may change, be withdrawn, change its pricing or change its terms after a lesson was written. We update lessons on a schedule, but you should verify current behaviour before relying on any instruction that involves a third party tool.
9.Accuracy
We take care to be accurate and to cite primary sources. We do not warrant that all content is error free, complete or current. If you find an error, email us and we will correct it.
10.Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own business decisions, for complying with the laws that apply to you, for the security and privacy of information you handle, and for how you use any tool or technique discussed in a course.
This is particularly important where a course discusses customer data, employee policies, automated communication or AI output. You are responsible for reviewing what your business sends and does.
We will tell you what we have seen and what we would check. What you do with it, and what happens next, is yours.
